Form of
Government:
Albania is a parliamentary republic. The main powers which can be discussed are
the legislative (parliament and office of the president) and executive (the
government).
Parliament:
Parliament consists of 140 deputies that are elected once every four years in
general elections. From the elected, a president and a council of ministers are
selected.
President of the
Republic:
The President is chosen once every five years. He is the head of state and
represents
the
unity of the nation.
Council of Ministers:
Primary among the ministers is the nomination of the president of the republic
and then he is aproved from the parlament
